This page is all about ways to save money on textbooks and class materials; especially for selecting zero textbook cost courses and finding their materials.

Finding Your For-Cost Class Textbooks

When looking to pay for textbooks, there are a few options:

  • Buying brand new books
  • Buying cheaper, used books
  • Renting print and e-textbooks

Brand new books are great to have, but they're often the most expensive option.

How to Find and Pay for Books:

  • Moreno Valley College Bookstore (operated by Follett) offers new, used, and rental books. On their website, you can go to Textbooks in the top navigation bar, then search based on your course and section. Rental options will be listed as 'Digital'.
  • You can also shop around and look at other vendors such as Amazon for new, used, or rental books. If looking for these, you can search by title, author, and book edition; but it's easiest if you have the ISBN number for your textbook. If you don't have that, you can find it on the College Bookstore search page (shown below).
