What is the Hold Process?

  1. Locate the item you're looking for, such as a laptop, hotspot, etc. 
  2. Log into OneSearch using your student email address. 
  3. Request a hold be placed on the item through OneSearch
  4. If the item is currently available, you will receive an email to your student email account that your item is ready to be picked up during library hours. 
  5. Any holds not picked up within 3 business days (including Saturdays, but not Sundays), will be made available to other students. 
  6. If an item is currently checked out and you have placed a hold on it, once the item is returned to the library, that item will go to the next person in the queue. 
  7. Once the item is available to be picked up, you will receive an email through your student email account.
