What is the Hold Process?
- Locate the item you're looking for, such as a laptop, hotspot, etc.
- Log into OneSearch using your student email address.
- Request a hold be placed on the item through OneSearch.
- If the item is currently available, you will receive an email to your student email account that your item is ready to be picked up during library hours.
- Any holds not picked up within 3 business days (including Saturdays, but not Sundays), will be made available to other students.
- If an item is currently checked out and you have placed a hold on it, once the item is returned to the library, that item will go to the next person in the queue.
- Once the item is available to be picked up, you will receive an email through your student email account.
