Creating OERs can be challenging and rewarding, but usually no more so than creating any other instructional content. As with other course content, you should use a rubric to ensure it meets the quality needs of your course. One advantage we have in developing good OER content is MVC's partnership with LibreTexts. LibreTexts offers tools that help with creating well-organized and accessible content that can be imported directly into Canvas.

• Review the ZTC Guide page on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
• Consider meeting with the RCCD Accessible Technology and Media Coordinator to review your content for accessibility
• Review your resource using the CVC OEI rubric. Consider using the LibreTexts accessibility tool (page forthcoming) to help check compliance with section D of the CVC OEI rubric, or using Pope Tech if you have imported it into Canvas.
• Complete the Accessibility page checklist on LibreTexts if you have your resource created or uploaded there.
