What has been learned from these surveys:
There has been a decrease in responses. An action plan could be to improve the marketing and advertising of the survey as well as consider providing the survey during a different time of the semester. The survey is typically made available either right before or right after spring break.
In reviewing the surveys themselves, errors were found that can be corrected in future surveys.
To improve the awareness of the library’s collection, the library has begun advertising ‘Featured Resources’ on its web site as well as including ‘Featured Resources’ in the Welcome email for each semester. The library will continue to do book displays in the library that correspond with student activities on campus.
The results of the surveys will help inform both the Instructional and Administrative Annual Program Review for the library.
