Community Assistance Program of Moreno Valley

http://www.mvcap.org/

The Community Assistance Program (CAP) is a private non-profit food pantry located in Moreno Valley, CA. We actively work to improve the quality of life for Moreno Valley residents who are in need of emergency food, clothing, and utlity assistance. Since we opened in January of 1992, we have served over 55,000 local families with food and clothing and over 1200 families with utility payments, bus vouchers, and household items. Our motto is 'People Helping People' and we couldn't do this without our amazing volunteers. We at CAP are grateful for all the support of the Moreno Valley community with their time, resources, and talent.

We are open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 1pm. New clients are always welcome. Please call us at (951) 485-7792 during regular business hours for more information.

https://riversidecitymission.org/family-food-box

Do you need a monthly family food box? Each person must have an approved application to receive our free services. Click here to fill out the application. Once your application has been approved, you can reserve your box by calling:

(951) 341-5055 between 8AM and 2PM, Tuesday through Friday

The date your Food Box will be delivered or may be picked up will be given to you when your food box is ordered. Only those over the age of 18 may sign up for the food box delivery, otherwise, the box is forfeited for the current month and the following month.

There are no guarantees that a food box will be available should you call to sign up after the “sign-up” deadline date. We depend on volunteer drivers to deliver your food box. They do not have extra space in their vehicles for non-food items.

Please be patient if you call and do not get an answer immediately. We have many calls coming in and ONLY one person answering the phones. Please just call again.

DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE regarding signing up for a Family Food Box or to sign up for Little Blessingdales. You must talk with a live operator - unfortunately, if you leave a message, the message will not be returned and you will not be signed up.
